What do I get when I buy the 3D Greeting Card pattern?

You get a pdf document that is about 11 pages

(the # varies by subject) containing color photos with instruction and black and white pattern pages. The pdf is a digital file. When you make one or more purchases you are sent a downloaded file to your computer.  I will be in your “Download File”.  Just click on the Icon and drag it to your desktop.

How do I buy a pattern from your site?

Under the Greeting Card images on the front page are the answers to these two questions: 

1. What am I buying?
2. How do I download the PDF File?

I can’t print. Will you print and mail it to me?

Sorry, but no. If you want to go local, than an office supply or print shop can print from a pdf. There’s also tons of online print services that can print from a pdf. You can either take in a flash drive with the pdf or upload it online.

Note: The pdf you buy is compressed to make a small file. If you do prefer to get a professional print job, contact us. We can send you the file separated into two parts at a higher quality. The color pages can print double sided. The pattern pages can print black and white one sided.

To print a single page or a range of pages: On your printer, select “File – Print”, Click on “From”, then enter the same page # (ie 6 t0 6) for one page. To get a range of pages, when you click on “From” enter the range of pages that the pattern is on.

How do I use the pattern?

The eco-friendly tech version – save the pdf to a portable device such as an iPad, chromebook, laptop, etc. only print the pattern pages on black and white one sided. View the instructions and videos on your computer while making the pattern. Saves paper and ink. Otherwise, just print out all the pages.

Can I use other media?

Sure! You could use acrylics, colored markers and even crayons.  They all create different effects.

I found an error in the pattern pdf. Should I let you know?

Yes, please. We go bug eyed creating patterns after a while and miss things.

Can I sell a finished 3D Greeting Card?

Yes. In fact, you can change the colors or arrangements on any 3D Greeting Card as you wish!

Can I resell your pattern, put it up on file share, or give copies away to all my friends?
 Um, no, no and no.

What are your payment options and is it secure?

Our site uses Stripe, which accepts Credit or Debit Cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay. My website is a secure website.  We don’t handle any of the payment processing.

Do you sell the finished cards?
 Sorry, but no.

How much painting experience do I need to make a 3D Greeting Card?

I recommend that you watch my You Tube video demo on: “lauriepacidesigns a Pink Poppy 3D Greeting Card” first. There are also simple step-by-step instruction in your download.

How long does it take to make a 3D Greeting Card? It should take about 2 hours.

Can I send you a photo of my finished 3D Greeting Card?

Absolutely yes. I love to see what you’ve made using my patterns. If you allow us permission, we can put up a gallery of customer creations on our website.

How big are the 3D Greeting Cards? They are 5″ x 7″ Vertical and 7″ x 5″ Horizontal.
